Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective / last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy explains the general framework for cancellation, refund and payment-correction requests for Lex Orbis Education programmes. Programme-specific written terms may add further details before enrolment.
1. Scope and enrolment confirmation
This policy applies to programme fees paid to Lex Orbis Education (OPC) Private Limited unless a programme-specific written policy states otherwise. Enrolment is treated as confirmed after the required payment and verification steps are completed and the learner receives admission or access confirmation.
2. Cancellation before programme access
A learner who wishes to cancel before the programme starts and before course access, recordings, digital materials or personalised academic support have been provided should submit a written request as early as possible. Eligibility for any refund or credit will be determined under the programme-specific terms disclosed at enrolment and applicable law.
3. Requests after commencement or digital access
Once a programme has commenced or the learner has received access to live classes, recordings, notes, tests, digital resources, mentoring or other course services, the value of services already supplied may affect refund eligibility. Any refund or credit will be assessed under the applicable written enrolment terms and mandatory legal requirements.
4. Duplicate, failed or excess payments
If a payment is duplicated, debited more than once, or collected in excess because of a verified payment-processing error, the learner should report the transaction details promptly. Verified excess or duplicate collections will be reconciled and, where appropriate, returned through a reasonable payment method after verification.
5. Non-refundable or already-delivered components
Where permitted by applicable law and disclosed in the relevant programme terms, amounts attributable to payment-processing charges, administrative work already completed, personalised support already delivered, or digital learning content already supplied may be non-refundable or deducted from an otherwise eligible refund.
6. How to request cancellation or refund
Requests must be submitted through the official Lex Orbis Education contact or admissions channel and should include the learner's full name, registered email or mobile number, programme name, payment reference, date of payment and reason for the request. Additional information may be requested only where reasonably necessary to verify the enrolment or transaction.
7. Batch, schedule or programme changes
If Lex Orbis Education materially changes or is unable to provide an enrolled programme, the learner may be offered an appropriate replacement batch, credit, continuation arrangement or other reasonable remedy. Any refund entitlement will be considered in light of the specific circumstances, services already delivered, programme-specific terms and applicable law.
8. Programme-specific terms and statutory rights
Programme-specific written terms disclosed before or at enrolment form part of this policy. If there is an inconsistency, the more specific written programme term will apply to that enrolment, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
